The Ajax Baseline range provides connected wireless intrusion protection through a system designed for straightforward daily use.
Motion detectors monitor internal and selected external areas, while door and window contacts identify unauthorised opening. Glass-break detectors provide an additional layer around vulnerable windows, and panic buttons allow users to request immediate assistance. Indoor and outdoor sirens create an audible warning when an alarm occurs.
Compatible devices communicate with an Ajax hub using encrypted two-way wireless technology. Energy-efficient operation supports extended battery life, while the system supervises device communication, power status and other important operating conditions.
Authorised users can manage the system through the Ajax application. They can arm or disarm selected areas, receive notifications, identify which detector generated an alarm and review the system event history. Alerts can also be transmitted to an offsite monitoring centre where configured.
Selected MotionCam detectors add visual alarm verification by capturing a sequence of images when an alarm is activated. This provides additional context without relying on continuous indoor video recording.

The Ajax Superior product line is designed for professional installations requiring more advanced detection, system supervision and environmental resilience.
Superior solutions can combine wireless Jeweller and wired Fibra devices within a system designed around the construction, scale and risk profile of the property. This gives Tactical AI the flexibility to specify wireless, wired or hybrid protection according to the needs of each area.
Advanced devices may incorporate dual-technology sensing, anti-masking protection, extended detection ranges, photo verification and rugged outdoor construction. These capabilities are particularly valuable where detectors are exposed to changing weather, environmental movement, deliberate interference or longer observation distances.
MotionCam Outdoor solutions can combine outdoor movement detection with photographic verification. DualCurtain Outdoor devices create narrow detection zones in two directions, making them suitable for boundaries, walls, passages and approaches to protected buildings. Additional perimeter-grade sensors can be used to establish earlier warning across larger or more complex sites.
Correct positioning and configuration remain essential. Tactical AI considers terrain, vegetation, animals, movement patterns, mounting height and the intended detection area when designing the system.

Ajax automation devices allow compatible electrical systems to be controlled through the same connected security environment.
Gates, garage doors, lighting, plugs and selected electrical equipment can be managed remotely through the Ajax application. Relays, wall switches and smart plugs provide the connection between the Ajax system and compatible equipment.
Programmable scenarios allow selected actions to occur automatically in response to an event, schedule or change in security mode. Exterior lighting may switch on when an alarm is activated. A gate or door may be controlled according to an approved access procedure. Selected electrical equipment can be switched off remotely, and scheduled actions can support energy management or occupancy simulation.
Automation can also strengthen the security response by connecting detection to immediate action. A verified alarm may activate lighting, warning devices or another approved control before onsite personnel arrive.
The available functions depend on the connected equipment, electrical infrastructure and operating conditions of the property. Tactical AI assesses these requirements before programming any automated response.

Ajax fire and life-safety devices provide early warning of smoke, rapid increases in temperature and dangerous carbon monoxide levels.
Depending on the selected detector, one device may combine smoke, heat and carbon monoxide sensing within the same protected area. Built-in sirens provide an immediate local warning, while wireless interconnection allows compatible detectors across the property to sound together when one identifies a threat.
When connected to an Ajax system, fire events can also generate mobile notifications and be communicated to an offsite monitoring centre where configured. This helps ensure that the event is not dependent on someone being close enough to hear the local alarm.

The appropriate detector type, quantity and placement depend on the layout, occupancy and fire-safety requirements of the building. General Ajax fire and life-safety devices should not be confused with the certified EN54 solution required for certain commercial and regulated environments.

The Ajax EN54 fire solution is designed for commercial, industrial and higher-risk environments requiring appropriately certified fire-detection and alarm equipment.
Selected devices within the Ajax EN54 product line are certified to relevant European EN54 standards. The system can provide certified smoke and heat detection, wireless interlinked alarms and rapid communication of fire-related events.
Mobile and monitoring alerts provide authorised users and monitoring personnel with information about the location and nature of an activation. Compatible Ajax hubs and control equipment bring system status, detector information and event management into a connected fire-safety environment.
EN54 solutions may be appropriate for commercial buildings, office parks, warehouses, retail environments, residential estates, industrial properties and other sites where certified fire equipment is required.
Certification of individual products does not automatically make every installation compliant. The complete system must be assessed, designed and installed according to the building’s use, applicable South African requirements and any specifications established by the relevant fire-safety professionals or authorities.

The Ajax application gives authorised users a central point for managing the system. Depending on the equipment and permissions configured, users can arm or disarm areas, receive security and fire notifications, review events, view visual-verification images, operate automation devices and monitor the condition of connected equipment.
Access can be assigned according to each user’s responsibilities. This allows residents, managers, employees or security personnel to receive the controls and information appropriate to their roles.
An Ajax system can also be connected to offsite monitoring. When an intrusion, panic, fire or system event occurs, monitoring personnel can assess the available information and follow the site’s agreed escalation procedure.
